The event continues to grow from strength to strength. It has proved invaluable to many companies and operatives in the close protection sector post-covid era.

John Morrison of Close Protection World said,

“I am extremely pleased that Westminster Security has once again supported the annual London Close Protection conference. Having one of the leading Close Protection companies in London sponsoring our event is a real ‘Tip of the hat’ to the hard work of the events team over the last ten years.

Westminster will join an ever-growing list of leading Close Protection companies attending the 12th November conference, which means – Attend!

Networking, meeting, and socialising with the owners and operational managers of the top London CP companies in one room only happens at these events.

The conference is an annual networking and security event in the heart of the London Executive Protection industry. It is an opportunity for Security and Close Protection Professionals to meet, network and socialise in a secure and professional environment. This event is for the entire spectrum of the security sector: From security consultants, family TLs and newly trained CPOs to Hostile operators working in Afghan, family chauffeurs and Surveillance professionals.”

The conference will host a full day of:

Presentations

Guest speakers

Exhibitors

Workshops

Networking

Charity raffle with £20K worth of security courses, including full Close Protection Courses

Sponsored free lunch

Sponsored drinks reception

This Summer has shown that the close protection sector has made a swift comeback after years of lockdowns and uncertainty. Westminster Security recorded its busiest ‘summer season’ on record, often struggling to find and recruit available operatives. We even resorted to flying operatives in from overseas to fulfil surge requirements on contracts.

This Summer, it was evident that many operatives have left the industry and found alternative employment after two years of little to no work. The new SIA Close Protection “top-up training” requirements have exasperated this situation. The new requirements have left many experienced close protection operatives further frustrated. Many have decided they will let their licences expire and leave the industry for good.

So, there has never been a better time to attend, network, book courses, and excel in the industry. As the old and bold leave, they must be replaced by the next generation.

You can find more information and book tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/2022-close-protection-and-security-conference-tickets-227141635747

We look forward to seeing you there!

Westminster Security is delighted to announce that we are again sponsoring and attending the 2022 Close Protection World – Security and Networking conference in London this year.
